Abstract:
Alphabetical lists of Jewish war dead from the Polish Armed Forces and Armed Forces in Exile. List 1 contains 1105 names of Jewish military casualties of the September 1939 campaign. List 2 contains 523 names of Jewish military casualties of the Polish Armed Forces in exile. (List 2 is divided chronologically and geographically into four sections: Section 1 lists 18 Jewish military casualties from Polish units in France, North Africa, Norway, or Switzerland in 1940; Section 2 lists 294 Jewish military casualties from the Anders Army in the Soviet Union and Iran from 1941-1942; Section 3 lists 115 Jewish military casualties from the Polish Army East (P.A.E.) 2 Corps in Italy and the Middle East from 1942-1944; Section 4 lists 96 Jewish military casualties with the Polish Army West (P.A.W.) from the United Kingdom, Normandy Landing, 1 Corps, France, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, and the P.A.F. from 1942-1945. An appendix contains the names of 19 Jews who perished in concentration camps (Gulags) in the Soviet Union.
