There were two other children living with Jachiel and they were Chaja born 25/01/1931 and Akiwa born 25/04/1936. There were four adults living in the house and they were ICYK MEIR born 24/04/1878, WITLA RACHELA born 20/12/1883, GEDALIE born 14/06/1905, and CHANA BRUCH born 14/05/1905. Based on the ages of the people in the house I believe Icyk was the grandfather to the children, Gedalie was the father (son to Icyk), Chana was the mother (wife to Gedalie) and Witla was perhaps the grandmother and wife to Icyk. However, since she has Przysucha it's possible she was some other relative and came to live with the family in the ghetto.
I also found Jachiel in the Lodz Work Cards as Chil Lajb born 02/01/1933. I couldn't find anymore information in the following stages for Jachiel or his family. I did, however, find two pages of testimony via Yadshem for Khil Pasmanik and it states he was the son of Gedalyahu and Brakha Rorman in Lodz, Poland. This was submitted by his aunt Rakhel Eizenberg. There was also one submitted for Gedalyahu by Rakhel and it states his father was Mayer Icchak. The second testimony I found was for Yekhiel born to Gedalia and Khana nee Rorman in Lodz, Poland. This one states he was murdered in 1942 in Auschitwz. This was submitted by his cousin Mina Volfshtein. I'm certain that both testimonies are relevant to the Jachiel I've been searching.

I agree that both testimonies look like a good match for the Jechiel you've been tracking. I'm curious about the nicknames: do you think he went both by Jankel and Chil? I'm also curious about the assertion that he was murdered in Auschwitz in 1942, if he was still in the ghetto as late as November 1942.
