User Comments:
I searched the database under the exact setting for the first initial "J" and the last name Holska, but returned no matches. I then searched the last name Holska, but returned no matches. Finally I searched the last name Holska under the fuzzy setting, and returned one girl with the first name beginning with the letter J that fit into the appropriate age range. Jenta Rywka Kolska was born in 1924, and she is the only female that I was able to find based on a similar last name and age range for Gymnasium. She has a transport date listed in her notes of 05.03.1942 which is generally indicative of a date of transport ot Chelmno because transport were made to Chelmno from Lodz daily in March 1942.

User Comments:
While searching for Jenta's family in the database, I searched under the exact setting for the last name. I returned 2 females that lived at the same address as Jenta. Chana was the oldest female (she was born in 1887) and I assume that she is Jenta's mother. Bajla ( 01.04.1912) is the other female that is listed at the address, and I assume that based on date of birth, she is likely Jenta's older sister. I was unable to find a male listed at the address, so I decided to look under the last name of Kolski, and I found Abram. He was born in 1886, and shared the same address as the 3 women, so I assume that he is Jenta's father, but is just listed under a slightly different variation of the last name. Abram and Jenta share a deportation date of 05.03.1942, and based on secondary sources, they likely perished in the gas vans at Chelmno.I was unable to find any further information for Bajla or Chana.

I agree, and you are so close to having all of this exactly right--the death date, however, cannot be precisely determined (sometime after March 5, 1942). Please remove the date of death and then I can confirm your research on this stage. Thanks!
