When searching for I. Smolarska I found two matches (who I believe are the same person). The first name I found was Ita Smolarska born 18 Aug 1926 and she lived at Hamburger 30 flat 40 and she was deported on 13/9/1942. The second girl I found was Ilsa Smolarski born also on 18 Aug 1926 and she lived at Hanseaton 30 flat 40 and also Magistracka 4. She was deported with Transport 7.

I believe Ita and Ilsa are the same girl because they both have similar names, same birthdates, and similar addresses. When I was searching for their families I couldn't find anymore people living at Hamburger 30 flat 40.

I agree it is possible these are the same person--the closeness of the addresses and the lack of other people at Hamburgerstrasse 30 #40 leads me to believe that this was an error in documentation. I look forward to seeing what else you've found in the next stages.

I couldn't find anymore people living at Hamburger 30 flat 40.

I found living at Magistacka 4 and Hanseaten 30 flat 40; Fajwel Smolarski born 9 June 1895 (deported with transport 7) and Sara Smolarski born 24 Oct 1893 and she died on 12/1/42. I found her in the Lodz Hospital records as Sara-Rosa Smolarski born 1893 in Czernowice and died 11 Jan 1942 from Insuff. m. cordis, and living at Sonnleite 30.

If Ita was deported in September of 1942, during the "Gehsperre" action, she would have ended up in Chelmno where she perished in the gas vans.

I agree that Ita would have been deported during the Gehsperre Aktion if she was deported on September 13, 1942. You may add Chelmno as her place of death as well. Thank you for helping to complete Ita/Ilsa's record.
