Even though the spelling is not exact, I believe that Lena Lajzerowicz is the student that signed the album. I searched both first and last name under the exact and fuzzy setting, and nothing initially came up. After searching only the last name, I was able to find Lena. Her date of birth falls perfectly within the age range for attending School #4A, and the exact name of Lena Lajzerowicz is incredibly similar to the original name of Lea Lajerewicz. I continued searching through the names that could be similar after finding Lena, but could find no others that would seem fitting for having been the child that signed the album.

I agree this is the only possible candidate from the databases who might have signed this name in the album. As you suggest, in 1941 she would have been 8 years old, the right age to attend school #4a.

By searching through the database for the exact spelling of the name Lajzerowicz, I was able to find Pesa Gitla (d.o.b. 01.06.1909) whom I believe to be Lena's mother, and Bela (d.o.b 14.05.1916) whom I believe to be her sister. I believe these people to fill these specific familial roles based on shared addresses, and mainly, dates of birth (Pesa would have been about 24 when Lena was born). I was also able to find a deportation date of 26.06.1944, and by cross-referencing the jewishgen.org holocaust database, I was able to locate Lena's name, d.o.b. transport number and date under the Transport to Chelmno list. I then re-checked the date of 26.06.1944 in the secondary sources of the USHMM database, and saw that on that specific dat, over 900 people were deported to Chelmno. Therefore, I listed her transport destination and place of death as Chelmno, Poland. Unfortunately, Pesa was deported on 26.06.1944 and Bela was transported on 30.06.1944 (both dates according to secondary sources appear to have ended up at Chelmno as well).

I agree that it is possible that this information is correct for Lena. Can you tell me a little more about the source where you found her transport number?
