User Comments:
For H. Gutman I found 3 possible names. The first name I found was Haim born 1/12/1921 and he lived at Siegfr 33 flat 14 and he was deported on 15/3/1924 on TR 12.The second name  was Hersz Ber born 2/12/1921 and he lived at Frosch 2 flat 11 and he moved from Kreuz 22 on 4/2/43 to address Wirker 29. (I believe thats what the ghetto note explains "kreuz 22 wym 4.2.43 Wirker 29")The last name i found was Hejnoch born 1925 and he lived at Brunnen 7 flat 20. I'm not sure who's the better match to have signed his name. Haim & Hersz were listed as workers but I don't think that excludes them from being the signer.

I agree that any of these people could have signed this name in the album, and I agree with your reading of the WYM note in Hersz' record. Have you found any information pointing to which of these students might have signed this name?

Thank you for correcting your sources.

User Comments:
I found in the Lodz Work Cards a Henoch Gutman born July 4, 1925 and livedat Brunnen 7 flat 20. I'm guessing he's the same Hejnoch from stage one. On hiscard it states he worked at "Bahnhof Radegast" and was a"Physischer Arbeiter" and he started work on 11 July 1943 and hisworker # was 30637. He also has a note that says, "Transport Abt. vom22-Oct-1943; Einsatzgruppe vom 12-Apr-1944," So does the mean he wasdeported on April 12, 1944? For Hejnoch/Henoch's family I found Fiszel born1922, Rywka 1927, Szmul Mojsze 1932, and Estera Bajla born 1934. I didn't findhis parents and maybe I missed them so I'll look again. For Hersz I found his father as Jakub Lajzer born 21/01/1890 and died on16/09/1942 and his mother as Irka born 1890. She is also living at Wirken 29flat 1 as Iska Josefowicz Gutman with Roza born 1916 and Mania born 1917. For Haim I found his mother as Frajda born 11/08/1905 and his brother asJakub born 25/04/1926 and they both shared the same departation dates.
