User Comment:
Establishing the identity of Laja Hanower proved to be much more easily found, than some of the previous students whom I have attempted to find. Thus far she has matched all of the criteria needed, and I have been able to establish her gender, her date of birth, her address, and her 'occupation' as a student.

I agree you've found the student who most likely signed this name in the album. Best of luck in the next stages.

User Comment:
So far I have continued to find Laja Hanower within the Hospital records, and have added a possible address, although it is unclear if this is an address from a move within the ghetto or if the address indicates a possible second Laja whose information has been coupled into one. When looking through the labor cards I was unable to find anyone by the name of Hanower, and so I looked for variants of the name, looking also for the spelling 'Hajnower' which was a name that continually popped up in the Hospital records, but this spelling was not present in the labor card records either.

Please correct your source--look again at where this information comes from when you click on the record. While the source link name on the project is Hospital Records, the Lodz Ghetto Inhabitants database, where I suspect this information comes from, is in that package of sources as well.
