User Comment:

Abram Szymon Akierman is younger than what we are likely to find in the potential candidates.  I have added Abram Aron Akierman as a more potential candidate becasue his birthday falls in a more likely year and will continue researching him.

Thank you for starting this file! A few things to note- the student you have found could be a potential candidate, however the birthday falls 2 years after birthday's that are most likely to have attended this school. Did you try searching further? Abram Aron Akierman jumps out at me because he is born in 1927, which would fit this school better. Your student could be a potential candidate, however Abram Aron Akierman could be a better choice. I would feel comfortable with you adding this student to the file as well, and noting that both are possible but Abram Aron is a bit more likely to be the one who singed the book. Also, please enter the addresses separately and not in the same line, and enter information in the Researcher Comments section. This allows us to see the steps you took to find your information and also why you think this is the student who signed the book. Good luck in the upcoming states!

I agree with your expert reviewer--Abram Aron Akierman is a more likely candidate than Abram Szymon Akerman because Abram Szymon is younger than we expect for this school. Thank you for correcting the spelling of his last name, and good luck in the next stages!

I continued the research with the Abram Aron Akierman name.  I found a Perla Akierman I believe to possibly be his mother, a Chaja Akierman who is possibly his sister, and a Szlamek Akierman who is possibly his brother, because  they are of an appropriate age, have the same address, and were deported to Chelmno on the same date.

I also inferred that Chemno was Abram Aron Akierman's place of death beacause after researching the camp I learned that it's specific purpose was extermination.  http://www.ushmm.org/wlc/en/article.php?ModuleId=10005194

Expert Reviewer Comment:
While these folks appear to have lived at the same address as Abram Aron Akierman, and he was most likely deported to Chelmno (based on his transport date and secondary sources), we simply don't have enough information to know whether Abram Aron was the boy who signed the album for school #18B or whether it was Abram Szymon Akerman (also of the right age). Ordinarily, I'd mark this as "possible," since it is possible that Abram Aron was the signatory. However, there doesn't appear to be any data in Stage 1 indicating who you think signed the album. So, I will have to mark this as invalid until more data is provided in Stage 1 (which I think you should definitely do, since your instincts seem pretty strong here).
