School #5 was a school that taught both boys and girls. Most students were between 7 and 15 years old, meaning that they were born between 1926 and 1934.
School #5 was located at Ulica Limanoskiego 45. The street name was changed to Alexanderhof when German occupation began in 1939. See
www.lodz-ghetto.com for a map of Ulica Limanoskiego and the rest of the Lodz ghetto.

User Comment:
The student that i am researching is Chana Ajlenberg, her profile states that she goes to school #5. There were three possiblilties when i searched her, and I know that the one I picked is the correct one because the guidelines for School #5 is either a boy or girl with their age ranging from 8-15, this means that they must be born between the years 1926-1933.
In the three possibilities, only one of the students was born between that time, Chana Ajlenberg was born July 7, 1931 which would make her ten years old when she was in the Lodz Ghetto when the album was signed.

Great work! Feel free to move on to stage 2.

I agree that you have found the Chana Ajlenberg who most likely signed the album. As you suggest, since she attended school #5, she likely would have been born between 1926 and 1933; of the Chana Ajlenbergs who are in the database, only this one fits that range.
Two notes:
1. You've entered her birthdate backward (it appears as September 7, not July 9)--as soon as you fix that, I can confirm this stage.
2. We cannot say for certain that she was "taken to the camps"; we simply know at this point that she was in the Lodz Ghetto in 1941, when she signed the album.
