Gymnasium and high school for boys
Gymnasium and high school students were typically between 14 and 20 years old. A gymnasium student in September 1941 was likely born between 1921 and 1927.
The gymnasium and high school for boys was located on Otylii. The street name was changed to Ottilienstrasse when German occupation began in 1939. See
www.lodz-ghetto.com for a map of Otylii and the rest of the Lodz ghetto.

User Comment:
I found two names that seem like good matches for S. Abramowicz.
1.) Salomon born 10/1/1925 and he lived at Holz 22 fat 3, Moltke 11, and moved on 27/07/1944 to Hohens 28 and he also lived at SRODMIEJSKA 11.
2.) Sina Majer born 20/01/1925 and he lived at Sulzf 70 flat 23 and Zgeirz and moved on 14/07/1944.

I agree that both are possible candidates--amazing that both were still in the ghetto in July 1944. Thanks for all your help on the addresses! One quick note--let's keep in mind that Zgierz was a town near Lodz, not a street, for when we map the addresses. Good luck in the next stages!
