This is the testimony of Abraham Aussen, a survivor of the transport of October 23, 1942, from Westerbork. In addition to the survivor's date of birth, occupation, and address, the document also mentions his son and nephew, who were both in some of the same camps as he, six men who were in Blechhammer, fourteen people who wer on his transport, two more who were in Blechhammer, and ten more who were in different camps with him. Each person is identified by last name and usually first name. Sometimes a date of birth or approximate age and place of origin are also listed. So, too, are the fates of the individuals named.
