Description:
In 1941 the Reichsvereinigung der Juden in Deutschland (Reich Association of Jews in Germany) had been compelled to create these registration cards the Gestapo used to choose their deportees from. The cards include name, date of birth, place of birth, date of death, place of death, and comments.
All Jews resident in Germany were required to register with the Reichsvereinigung der Juden in Deutschland. Information was recorded on individual cards which were prepared by local branches. The cards were then submitted to the central office in Berlin.
