Abstract:
Pages 1167-1414 include an alphabetical listing of 7,152 Jews deported from Macedonia to Treblinka. Citations are by family and by the town in which the individual lived before deportation. Entries include deportee's number, number of the family in the register and the number of the register in which the family is entered [n.b.: p. 1165 includes a notation that two sets of original registers listing the Macedonian Jews in the camp in Skopje immediately before their deportation to Treblinka were discovered. The register from which the information in this book was extracted is in German and, according to the author, provides more complete information on the deportees. The other, which is in Bulgarian, is handwritten.
