Compiled by the British government (marked "G.R."), a copy of this document was received by the BRCFR in Brussels, Belgium. The Belgian government collected such materials during the post-World War II period from a wide variety of sources including concentration and prisoner of war camps, relief and charity organizations, hospitals and prisons. The collection was originally held by the Belgium Ministry of Health which later transferred it to the Centre d'études et de documentation "Guerre et sociétés contemporaines" (CEGES). The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the collection from CEGES via the United States Holocaust Museum International Archives Project in 2002. The present name register was identified, photocopied and presented to the Survivor's Registry as a gift by Registry Volunteer Peter Landé.
