Auschwitz concentration camp created this and other records in this microfilm collection from 1942 to 1945, and the International Tracing Service in Arolsen, Germany received these records after World War II. Yad Vashem microfilmed the records about 1956. Survivors Registry Volunteer Peter Lande purchased duplicates of this microfilm from Yad Vashem in 1997 for personal research, which he then donated to Survivors Registry, which in turn gave them over to the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives.
