According to USHMM Archives records, the original documents in this collection (RG-19.027) were created primarily by OMGUS and UNRRA in 1945 and 1946. Sidney Harcsztark, a rabbi in Brooklyn, N.Y., donated photocopies of these documents to the Museum in April 1989.
