The names are arranged according to work group. Names #1-31 and #45-49 are Jewish, the rest ethnic Turks. This list refers to all the men as members of the 12th Battalion, as opposed to using designation as Jewish detachment, Sveti Vrach. Hometowns are listed for all the men. All of the men listed here were recorded AWOL from late May to mid July. Some had returned to the unit, others did not. Of those who returned, many had typically been absent for only a day or two. Others left for several weeks.
