Notes:
This is a roster of Jewish conscripts reporting for duty on or about April 10, 1943 with the 3rd Group of the 1st Labor Battalion, stationed at the Ihtiman base camp of the Sofia-Plovdiv road building project. Home towns and YOBs are given for each man, as well as the projected date of discharge. Men reporting in April could expect discharge in November. The names are generally grouped according to hometown within each date of report to duty, although some names are given out of sequence as is common on Bulgarian rosters. Margin notes explain absences for a few, e.g., in case of illness.
