The list includes 17 ethnic Bulgarians referred to as "junior labor troops" and 10 Jews, referred to as "reserve labor troops". All of those named were detached from the 3rd Labor Battalion for one reason or another, but were to receive partial payment for their time of service with the unit. All ten of the Jews were in hospital. Of these, two men from the 2nd Construction Company were hospitalized in Sofia, while eight men from the 3rd Construction Company were in the Sofia general hospital or army hospitals in Sofia, Haskovo, or Plovdiv. Of the ethnic Bulgarians, the reason for detachment from the 3rd Labor Battalion was either hospitalization or assignment on mission elsewhere.
