Notes:
The men named here with YOBs and hometowns were excused from service with the 3rd Labor Battalion by a decison of the medical control commission. Their names were loosely grouped according to home town. Most of the 29 men were from the towns of Sliven, Burgas, Karnobat, and Yambol. The deployment of the 3rd Labor Battalion was at Nedelino in the Zlatogradsko district on the former frontier with Greece, near territories just annexed by Bulgaria from Greece following Nazi German's military intervention in the Balkans.
