Paragraph IX of 6th Labor Battalion order no. 52 names two groups of men who transfered within the unit. The 1st Work Group sent 205 men to join the 4th Group, and the 2nd Group sent 121 men to the 5th Group. Most of the transfers were effective as of August 10. The hard labor force of all these groups consisted exclusively of Jewish conscripts. No reason was stated for the transfer of personnel, although it was likely related to the needs of the 6th Labor Battalion's Sofia-Varna roadbuilding project.
