The list covers transfers into the disciplinary group of the 2nd Labor Battalion from other units during October 1942. The first seven names on the list are those of ethnic Bulgarian leadership and support personnel; one man is named twice (arrival and departure) for a total of seven individuals. The remaining 126 men, all Jews, were sent to the disciplinary group mainly from other battalions: names 1-69 from the 1st Labor Battalion; names 70-90 from the 5th Labor Battalion; names 91-94 from the 3rd Labor Battalion; and names 97-120 from the 4th Labor Battalion. The remainder were from the 2nd Labor Battalion itself. The list does not specify reasons for placement in the disciplinary unit, but some of the men named were marked AWOL on other lists, suggesting that desertion was a factor in some if not most cases.
