    Description
    Host: Carl Sagan. Guest: George Kistiakowsky (1900-1982), designed and built the chemical charge that triggered the first nuclear explosion.
    Sagan interviews Kistiakowsky about his involvement in nuclear weapons. Program discusses the history of the nuclear arms race and the "grave threat" of the human future. Kistiakowsky says that a nuclear war is probable and that only our efforts will help stop it.
