I remember reading Anne's diary for the first time. She seems so human and real. It was almost as though I was there. The holocaust was a terrible event in history, and this diary helps us understand from a teenager's perspectived.

The first time I ever read "The Diary of Anne Frank", it automatically became my best friend. I took it nearly EVERYWHERE, and I am now reading it for the fourth time! She is such an inspiration to me, because of the hope she had in such tough times. I would recommend this book to anyone of any age of any background. Peace!

I believe she wrote something about wanting to be like a bird so she could fly far far away from the confines of the secret annex, and the war completely. I don't blame her. At some point we all feel like slaves even in our own home, but I don't beleive that anyone could conceive this girls thoughts of freedom, and want. Another life cut short because of hate, war, and prejudice. Another life who is, was, and could have been great. I'm glad I got the chance to read her diary at a young age because it truly did change my life for the better. Thank you Anne, God bless...

I really do not like what the the Nazi did to the jews. I think that was just plain old mean and cruelty to the children and their families.

I just finshed reading her diary. It's amazing. I've also watched 'Anne Frank 2009' and 'Anne Frank: The Whole story' both so amazing. I'm quite obssessed with her life as well as her diary. I hate reading and I have no imagination but this book was so good and I could imagine these things because they actually happened. I would recommend to anyone!

I first read her diary when I was in 5th grade. My friend Jenny J was reading it and told me about it. I read this book every year. She made such a lasting impression on me and I hope her memory and all those who perished stay with us.
