Alicia Sokol I definately think that ideas can threaten a nation. There are certain topics that are just too touchy and can't be spoken of without causing discomfort and defensiveness. People get sensitive to certain topics when it comes beliefs. Disagreements can easily cause threat between people even in extreme measures of government, races/cultures, and entire nations.

Hannah B I think that ideas can threaten a nation because obviously not all ideas are good ideas (like book burnings, for instance) and if a person convinces others to approve of a bad idea, it could end badly for that nation. Sometimes censorship is justified but most of the time people are just angered by it and feel that they should be the judge of whether they should hear or see something, not someone else.

Kevin Renelt i think ideas can threaten a nation because it could cause riots and people might try to over throw the country and it will be all anarchy. i dont think censorship can ever be justified because if there gonna try to censor it just put it on a different channel on tv.

Alex Milam I think some ideas could threaten a nation. If certain people get the idea that other things are right, but really there extremely bad it could end up affecting a whole nation. but still i dont know if censorship is okay.

Madisen Penshorn An idea can spread like wildfire in a nation, so if a certain not-so-good idea directed toward a nation spreads, that nation would feel threatened.
