US Holocaust Memorial Museum Chairman Elie Wiesel said, “a memorial unresponsive to the future would also violate the memory of the past.”

The Museum is fulfilling its mandate to be a living memorial to the Holocaust by studying the choices made by individuals and institutions during the Holocaust and educating, engaging, and inspiring the public to learn more and consider what they can do to prevent these atrocities in the future.

Join us for the New York Next Generation's signature event to learn how the lessons learned from the Holocaust impact the work being done today by the Museum’s Simon Skjodt Center for the Prevention of Genocide.
