Fighting the Fires of Hate: America and the Nazi Book Burnings
This exhibition is composed of approximately 60 free-standing panels, divided into six thematic sections, that feature reproductions of photographs, newspapers, documents, posters, and books. Four free-standing audio/visual kiosks that feature historical footage and film clips accompany the exhibition as well.
HOST REQUIREMENTS
- Two-month booking period
- Rental fee of $2,500 plus outgoing shipping costs
- Gallery space between 800 and 1,200 square feet for exhibition of approximately 130 linear feet (arrangement is flexible)
- Ceiling heights of at least 8.5 feet
- Gallery lighting; exhibition is not self-lit
- Environmental controls; direct sunlight must be diffused or eliminated to prevent fading of panels and imagery
- Storage space for shipping crates and other packing materials
- Team of two or three persons for installation and de-installation
- Secure, locked exhibition space, staffed during open hours
