The St.
Louis search project was accomplished with the assistance of staff
and volunteers working at various institutions and archives in Europe,
Israel, and the United States. Several of these institutions, including
the Drancy Memorial and the Mechelen Museum (sites of the primary
transit camps for deportation of Jews from France and Belgium to Auschwitz)
