Virtual Event
US Holocaust Memorial Museum

US Holocaust Memorial Museum

The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum invites you to the 2020 Arthur and Rochelle Belfer National Conference for Educators on July 20–21. The conference is free to pre-service teachers, middle and high school educators, and community college faculty interested in teaching about the Holocaust. While the conference is designed for educators with less than five years experience teaching about the Holocaust, educators with more experience are also invited to attend. Due to the public health emergency, this year’s conference will be held virtually.

At the conference, you will:
• Work closely with Museum staff, historians, and expert educators
• Obtain classroom-tested lesson plans
• Network with educators from around the country
• Hear firsthand testimony from a Holocaust survivor

Optional live homeroom sessions daily after the conference.

The deadline to register is June 1, 2020.

Virtual event access details will be provided in your e-mail registration confirmation.
