Dear Sirs,

Almost accidently I found this webside.
It's a long time now since I have been searching for my grandfather, who was born in Vilnius in date of 11.05. 1904. His name was Senja Tabrys. Another little detail is that my grandfathers sister was a pianist in France.

He was the son of russian merchants who dealed with porcelain, tapestry and so on. In the 20ies he went to Berlin to study engineering where he met my grandmother who was only 17.
In 1926 my father was born and he went back home because his jewish Family did not allow the marriage with a christian girl. In 1938 he emigrated to England.

As my father as an illegal child had a very hard life growing in an orphans home I asked myself many times what had become of his father and his family.

As the name is the same as yours - probably you know something and I would be happy if you could tell me.

Kindest regards
Christine Geist

I am looking for descendants of our family members who survived the Holocaust and went to Israel. We know they are there, because in the late 1940s, my mother made contact. The family was from the Krakow area of Poland, possibly Zborow. Most family members, children of Sarah Sugar, moved to England circa 1896, but those who stayed behind because they were grown with families of there own, perished. The sisters who stayed behind had several siblings: Kalman, Abraham, Zeicel, Reizel, Louis, and Jinny. Please respond if you think you could be part of this family.

I am looking for anyone related to, or with information about, the FREUDENFELD family of Tuchow, Poland. My father's grandparents owned a tavern there. Their names (I think) were Simon and Sarah, and they had at least two daughters, one named Debora (who married Moses ALTHOLZ) and one who my father remembers calling "Unya." Perhaps her name was Anya?

I am looking for my grandfather?s holocaust survivor story ? Morris Frenkel, 1925 or Moniek Frenkel, I am not sure which name he is submitted under. He was in Auschwitz concentration camp and various other camps and he may have submitted his story which was voice or video recorded. If he has, where could I get a copy of that interview?
