My parents were from small shtetls around Lemberg (Lvov) Galicia, Poland now Ukraine. I am interested in these families-- Wittman (Vitman) Lapiowker, Halpern, Schrott, Waksman, Redler, Wiederkehr, Schafler. My father was Joseph Wittman and my mother Paulette Lapiowker Wittman. My father escaped France in 1940 and my mother spent the war years in Le Chambon-sur-Lignon where she and my brothers were saved by French Hugenots (Protestants).

Alida Waas died 2-8-42.
Abigael Meljado died 28-9-42.
All in Auschwitz.

I am looking for Robert Lubran.I believe his fathers name to be Arnold former surname Lubranczyk.Arnolds mother Mjnna Lubranczyk nee David died in Terezin on the 16/01/1943.Arnold had 2 sisters Frieda and Elsa.

I AM LOOKING AND SEARCHING FOR SOME FAMILY NAMES FROM LOMZA, POLAND
ZAMBROWSKI OR ANY NAME CLOSELY RELATED TO.
GIVNERS: LAMECH AND YENTL.
WERE THERE ANY GIVNER SURVIVORS FROM THE SECOND WORLD WAR THAT CAME FROM LOMZA POLAND THAT MADE IT OVER TO THE UNITED STATES.
SOMEWHERE DEEP DOWN IN MY SPIRIT SOMEONE IS ALIVE TODAY AND DON'T KNOW WHERE THEY ARE.
ALTHOUGH I WAS TOLD 7 -10 FAMILIES ON MY GRANDMOTHERS SIDE AND GRANDFATHERS SIDE [ARENTS, BROTHERS WERE ALL WIPED OUT I BLEIEV SOMEWHERE THE ANCESTORS ARE STILL ALIVE. OR MAYBE I WOULD LIKE TOBELIEVE
THEY ARE.
I HAVE KEPT THIS SECRET TO MYSELF FOR MANY YEARS.

I am looking for any information on the Lasky family from Zagarow (or Zagorow), Poland. Manuel Lasky came to the United States in 1937 but brother Shaya and the rest of the family remained in Poland. Thank you.
