I am researching the life of my great-grandmother's brother whose name was Jozef Krzyszkowski. To most he was probably known as Father Jozef as he was a Polish Jesuit Priest, born in Lipnica Dolna near Bochnia in 1889. He joined the Jesuits in Stara Wies and was ordained in Krakow in 1917. On 10 Nov 1939, he was arrested by the Nazis and imprisoned in Montelupi then moved to Wisniszes. In Jun 1940, he was sent to Auschwitz then to Dachau on 12 Dec. where he became prisoner #22_199. Father Jozef remained there until liberation day 20 Apr 1945. I would love to know if anyone in our world today remembers him and would be willing to share any memories of him with me. Eventually he went on to lecture at Loyola University in Chicago. God bless.
