Looking for any descendants of Arnold/Aharon SCHREINER, b. 1873 in Kormend and Ilona HARNISCH. They were married in 1916 in Frankfurt am Main. As Ilona was not Jewish, it's possible Arnold or their children (if any) may have survived the war in hiding in Frankfurt or the area.

Patrick Noonan Date March 03, 2009 01:24 AM |
My mother, Bessie Shefler (Noonan) was born is Warsaw, Poland in l914. Her parents sent her to Shanghai in the 30's. She worked in a hat shop where she met my father Arthur, a US Marine. He was transfered out when the War started and she was left behind with my sister Dolores. They spent the War in a Japanese internment camp. At the end of the war she was reunited with my father and they settled in the US. I heard that her family all died in Warsaw. My mother's name on her French ID is Bassia Haimoona Shefler. I think her father's name was Haim. Her mother's name was Zelda. Did any of my mother's family survive?
