I am looking for anyone who may have known or had contact with Istvan Szanto (born 1893), Margit Szanto (born 1897), or Oszkar Szanto (born 1931). All were from Budapest, Hungary. We believe Istvan and Margit were sent to Auschwitz in 1944 or 45. Oszkar may have been killed prior to transport, but we are not sure. My grandmother was Oszkar's sister, and was hidden during the war. She is now deceased. None survived, and I am trying to find out what happened to them for my family history. Thank you very much.

I am looking for any Cons family members who survived the holocaust originating from Dorohoi Romania. Part of thr family emigrated to the U.S where some remained and others immigrated to Montreal Quebec. In particular i am looking for relatives of Lea Abramovitz who posted tetamonials about her cousins and siblings at the Yad vashem site. I believe there are Cons family descendants in Israel Please help it would be meaningful to me. The patriarch of the family was Feibish Cons of Dorohoi Romania. I would like to reconnect with long lost relatives. Thanks very much Ivan Cons

I amCarolyn Canning, the grand-daughter of Carl Lobel, born in Iasi, Romania, 1866.son of Jonas and Susana Lobel. He died in England of old age in 1941, but had relatives in Iasi whom he visited with my father, John before WW2. We know from Yad Vashem that several Lobels died in the 1941 June pogrom. Did any of Carl lobel's relatives survive?

I previously made a post about trying to find information on the family Szpigielglas, and I am still looking for information. But I also realized that my relatives can be under another name called Czapek, and Czapinska who are also on Yad Vashem. Czapek and Czapinska are maiden names from the mother's side of my Grandfather. These two families, together lived in Warsaw and most of them, we know, were murdered there during the holocaust. I have heard from my Father that some may have moved to Israel, and some friends who knew these family members are in the United States.
