IM SEEKING INFORMATION ON DISTANT RELATIVES IN POLAND THAT WERE RELATED TO MY GRAND FATHER - -HE WAS IN AMERICA AT THE TIME OF THE WAR -AND OUR FAMILY LOST MANY RELATIVES -WHO I DO NOT KNOW -YAD VASHEM SHOWS OVER 120 VICTIMS THAT CARRY MY LST NAME -I LOST ALL CONTACT WITH MY ANCESTORY IN POLAND DURRING WORLD WAR TWO -I HAVE KNOW IDEA WHO MAY HAVE BEEN RELATED TO -AS MY GRANDFATHER HAS DIED AND MY FATHER AND AUNT AS CHILDREN COULDNT READ POLISH -SO OR ANCESTORY IS LOST -AND WE CANT EVEN IDENTIFY WHO WAS RELATED TO US THAT WAS KILLED -TO HONNOR THERE MEMORY AND POSSIBLY CONTACT THERE RELATED DECENDANTS FOR A FAMILY REUNION EVENT -4 GENERATIONS FROM THE HOLOCAUST-MY FAMILY TREE IS DESTROYED ON MY FATHERS SIDE - -SO IM RESEARCHING TO FIND OUT WHO WAS RELATED THAT WAS KILLED --DANIEL

My father Josef Wajnryb was born in 1922 to David and Chana Wajnryb. His younger sister, Rosalie was born in 1923. My father escaped the Lodz ghetto, but his parents and sister did not. We believe that they perished at Auschwitz (possibly Chelmno?). I hope to discover their history and my Polish roots. I visited Lodz in 2007 but did not find my father's childhood apartment. I did find a family friend's (Loeb) apartment, but there was no one there.
