To mark the 65th anniversary of the end of World War II, please join us in paying tribute to the U.S. soldiers who helped defeat Nazi Germany and liberate Holocaust survivors from years of suffering. The Museum will honor their bravery as soldiers and their importance as eyewitnesses with special recognition at the 2010 National Tribute Dinner. They will be joining us in large numbers for what will be one of the last opportunities to honor these brave veterans in person.

This year, the Museum also honors Chairman Fred S. Zeidman, a dedicated and visionary leader who has guided the transformation of the Museum into a global institution that challenges people everywhere to remember, to learn, and to act. Inspired by the survivors and their legacy, Fred has helped place the institution at the forefront of Holocaust education and worked tirelessly to empower leaders and citizens alike to create a more just world. In his honor, the Museum has created the Fred S. Zeidman Endowment Fund for Holocaust Education.
