Amanda Grzyb

Amanda Grzyb is assistant professor of Information and Media Studies at the University of Western Ontario. Her teaching and research interests include Holocaust and genocide studies, social movements and media, alternative media, and homelessness. She is a core faculty member in Western's Media and the Public Interest undergraduate program, a core faculty member in Western's Centre for Transitional Justice and Post-Conflict Reconstruction, and an associate scholar at Western's Holocaust Literature Research Institute. She is also on the advisory board of Canada's National Task Force for Holocaust Education, Remembrance, and Research. She recently edited a collection of essays called *The World and Darfur: International Response to Crimes Against Humanity in Western Sudan* (McGill-Queen's UP, 2009), which includes a Foreword by Lt. Gen (Ret.) Romeo Dallaire. She holds a Ph.D. in English from Duke University.
