| OVERVIEW OF ORAL HISTORY COLLECTION: | A Holocaust-related oral history project was conducted in the 1970’s under the auspices of the Brandeis University National Women’s Committee (BUNWC).
The BUNWC conducted interviews with survivors of the Holocaust now living in the U.S. Interviewers were members of the Brandeis University National Women's Committee and were not trained in conducting oral histories. The interviews took place in the 1970's. The interviewees were also members of the Brandeis University National Women's Committee. The collection consists of 335 interviews (on tape). There are transcriptions of some of the interviews. The tapes were deposited in the library. |
