GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION:	Holocaust Survivors and Friends Education Center was founded as Holocaust Survivors and Friends in Pursuit of Justice in 1978, following the first U.S. trial of a Nazi war criminal. Its services include a resource center which contains 5,000 books on the Holocaust, videotapes and audiotapes. Publications are: "Justice Journal", "Anne Frank Education Guide", "French Children of the Holocaust Education Guide", "On the Brink of Nowhere", "Truth Prevails: Demolishing Holocaust Denial: The End of the Leuchter Report.". Services include: educational exhibits, teacher workshops, survivor lectures, curriculum development, annual "Kristallnacht Confronting Bigotry Program," teacher/student research graduate courses.

OVERVIEW OF ORAL HISTORY COLLECTION:	The Holocaust Survivors and Friends Education Cente has a collection, called "Eyewitness Testimonies," of 30 local survivor testimonies, as well as interviews with soldiers and army nurses, taped at the Time Warner studios in Albany. Interviewees joined the organization or were found through networking and through veterans' groups.
