| GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION: | The Düsseldorf Memorial Centre was established in 1987 in the premises of the Old Town Hall, which were police headquarters in Düsseldorf until the end of 1933, with offices, interrogation rooms and cells.
Documents, photos, copies and originals provide information on the fate of groups and individuals who had been persecuted in Düsseldorf. Individual interviews were conducted with persons persecuted. Some of those recorded on video are part of the permanent exhibition. A compilation of reports from contemporary witnesses serves as an introductory film to the exhibition. |
