| GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION: | In 1985, the non-current records of the Jewish Labor Committee were transferred to the Robert F. Wagner Labor Archives at New York University. This collection, comprising 800 boxes of material covering the period 1934- 1980, includes manuscript and printed documents in English, Yiddish, Polish and other languages, as well as photographs, scrapbooks, posters and films. |

| OVERVIEW OF ORAL HISTORY COLLECTION: | There are 24 interviews in the collection.
Twelve videotaped interviews with historians and Jewish Labor Committee veterans were prepared in connection with the Wagner Archives' "American Labor and the Holocaust" film project. This series includes interviews with Benjamin Gebiner, Joseph Mlotek, Vladka Meed, Gus Tyler, Motl Zelmanowicz, and historians Jack Jacobs and Kenneth Waltzer.
