OVERVIEW OF ORAL HISTORY COLLECTION:On a private initiative, Professor Leah Dickstein, a psychiatrist, self-funded a seven-year international project interviewing Catholic and Jewish survivors, men and women, who were former prisoners of Nazi concentration camps.

Prof. Dickstein conducted all the interviews. Interviewees were from Germany, Russia, and several Eastern European countries such as Poland, Lithuania, and Hungary. Interviews were conducted in Hebrew, Russian, Yiddish as well as English.
