| GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION: | Moreshet, the Holocaust Studies and Research Center, was first established in the 1960s as a center for the collection of the testimonies of concentration camp survivors and ghetto resistance fighters. Abba Kovner, who commanded the unit of Jewish partisans in the Lithuanian forests, headed the group of founders.
Moreshet has since developed into a leading educational center and teaching facility for Shoah research and study. |
