| GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION: | The Philadelphia Jewish Archives (PJAC) was established in 1972, to collect, preserve, and organize the records of the Greater Philadelphia Jewish community and make them publicly available.
The Holocaust collection consists of papers of Holocaust survivors who settled in the greater Philadelphia region as well as the responses of local Jewish organizations to the Holocaust and the Displaced Persons following WWII. |

| OVERVIEW OF ORAL HISTORY COLLECTION: | Two Holocaust interviews were donated by the Women's Division of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia.
The largest oral history collection comes from the Women's Division of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia (the agency which supports the Philadelphia Jewish Archives Center). They donate audio cassettes, some of which are Holocaust related. |
