Lenore J. Weitzman is Clarence J. Robinson Professor of Sociology and Law, George Mason University, Fairfax, Virginia, and is currently the Miles Lerman Fellow at the Center for Advanced Holocaust Studies, United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. She is researching couriers who operated in the Jewish Resistance during the Holocaust. Professor Weitzman has authored or edited six books, including Women in the Holocaust (1998), which she coedited with Dalia Ofer. Her most recent working manuscript is “Double Lives: The Story of Jews Who Survived the Holocaust on False Papers.”
