Shop window in Nuremberg displaying Hitler busts for sale, 1935
The cult of Adolf Hitler was promoted on a mass scale. Paintings, posters, and busts of the Führer were reproduced in huge quantities for display in public venues and private homes. Millions of copies of Hitler's 1924 autobiography, Mein Kampf (My Struggle), were published in special editions, including one for newlyweds and one in Braille for blind persons.
