In a fuzzy search for H* Ejchel, Hirsz was the only male that came up, and his birthdate made him the correct age to have attended School #20B.

I agree. Ejchel and Ajchel are analogues, so this is likely the person who signed this name in the album.

User Comments:

Hirsz lived at the Pfeffergasse addresses with two men (Froim, b. 1903; and Icek, b. 1909), one of whom is probably his father and the other probably his cousin or uncle, but it is impossible to tell which one is which. Since Froim is older, though, I suspect that he is Hirsz's father. Hirsz also lived with his mother Bajla (nee Bialek, b. 1905), who moved to Pfeffergasse 18 on July 13, 1941.

Bajla and Icek have no information listed for them regarding their fates. Hirsz and Froim, however, were deported on March 25, 1942, during the month of daily deportations to Chelmno.
