User Comments:
When I searched for K. KILBERT two names came up that were born between 1921 and 1927. The first name was Kajla Kilbert born 13 Jun 1925 and she lived at MOLTKE 48 and Sattlergasse 5 flat 43. She died on 13.5.42.The second name was Keila Kilbert with the same birthdate and she lived at Sattlergasse 5 flat 44. I believe Kejla and Keila are the same girl givin the fact their names are similar, they share the same birthdates, and plus similar addresses (only one number off). But I'm not sure so I'll let the experts decide.

I agree that these are the same person. (We're hardly experts, but we try to look closely.) Please remember to look for both spellings of her first name in the next stages.

I believe Keila/Kajla's parents were Abram born 01/01/1888 and died 13/06/1942 (He also appears with the birthdate 08/01/1888) and Blima born 1892 and she was deported on 12/09/1942. I believe her siblings were; Josef Mojsze born 03/10/1915 (he also appears as Josek born 03/10/1925 and I'm assuming this is a mistake and the correct date is 1915 since on the Lodz Hospital record it says 1915. he also died on 5/07/1942). Tauba Bina born 21/12/1915 (also appears just as Tauba born 21/02/1919 and address Sattler 5 flat 44), and Samuel born 23(25)/06/1925 and died 18/03/1942. If the relationships are correct then Kajla/Keila would have been the youngest child in her family. And also note that Abram has a ghetto note that says "NIE ZASTALEM PRZEBYWA CZASOWO POZA GETTEM" I'm not sure what that refers too.

We will check with our Polish-speaking experts at the Museum and confirm what the note means. Thank you for helping to complete Kajla/Keila's record.
