User Comments:

A search for Chana Elkan turned up four results (3 of which were born in 1885, and I presume they are the same person), and the last result was a girl born in 1932, which would have made her the right age to attend School #9A.

There was a note on Chana's addresses that said A.M., but her profile on JewishGen.org's site listed the same Hohens address but with 'AltMarkt' instead of A.M.

I agree you've found the student who most likely signed this name in the album, and agree with your reasoning. Usually, AM stands for Alter Mieter (old tenant) but in this case could also stand for Alt-Markt according to JewishGen. Thank you for correcting your source for this information.
Stage 2: The Ghetto

Mother's Name:
Fajga Gitla Elkan

User Comments:

Chana had family members that lived at the same address as her, including a mother (Fajga, b. 1908), father (Zysman, b. 1906), and a brother (Izrael, b. 1936).

No deportation information is listed for Fajga, but Chana and Izrael were both deported on September 20, 1942. However, there is no deportation associated with that date, so their fate remains unknown for now. Zysman died of currently unknown causes on March 15, 1944.

I agree with your conclusions and agree that we do not know where she would have ended up if deported on September 20, 1942. Hopefully more resources will help us figure out this mystery.
