Student Profile: Z. Rozenfeld

I believe that the Z. Rozenfeld that signed the album is actually Zelda Rozenfeld. I performed a search in the database using the fuzzy setting for the last name and the fuzzy setting for the first name. Zelda is the only little girl with a birthdate and occupation (Schuelerin) that would logically fit the description of what we are looking for. I also found a deportation date of 30.3.42 in her notes, which means to me that during mass round-ups in March of 1942, Zelda was taken to Chelmno and killed in the gas vans there.

I agree you have found the most likely candidate to have signed this name in the album. In 1941 she would have been 11 years old, the right age to attend school #4b. Best of luck in the next stages.
